Job Description
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure the success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Designing, configuring, and deploying network systems such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Ensuring network architecture meets business requirements and security standards.
- Providing technical support for network-related issues and incidents, diagnosing and resolving problems promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- CCNP or higher certification (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
